Terms of Service

Welcome to Unaired. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Unaired's website, products, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Pricing: Pricing for each tier (The Round, The Weekend, The Trip, The Season) is shown at the time of purchase
  • Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method
  • One-time purchases: Tier purchases are one-time and grant a fixed number of broadcasts as specified
  • Expiration: The Season tier credits expire 12 months from purchase date
  • Taxes: Prices do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are final. If a broadcast fails to generate due to a system error, we will make it right by re-running the broadcast or, at our discretion, issuing a refund. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a goodwill refund at our sole discretion — contact us at support@unaired.ai.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (scorecards, photos, notes, group chat content). By submitting content, you grant Unaired a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You represent that you own or have permission to submit all content, and that submitting it does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Generated Content

Broadcasts generated by Unaired are created by AI based on your inputs. You may use, share, and distribute your generated broadcasts for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires written permission.

Unaired retains the right to use anonymized, aggregated data from generations to improve the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

Unaired is built for lighthearted golf banter — locker-room ribbing of your group is welcome. Content that goes beyond that is not. You agree not to submit notes, chat history, or any other input, and not to use the Service to generate broadcasts, that:

  • Contain sexual or sexually suggestive content of any kind
  • Sexualize, exploit, endanger, or otherwise harm minors, or depict minors in scenarios involving alcohol, drugs, or adult themes
  • Describe, glorify, or instruct on real-world violence, weapons, physical harm, or self-harm (including suicide)
  • Contain hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Harass, bully, threaten, defame, or invade the privacy of any individual — including members of your own group who have not consented to be featured
  • Doxx anyone or include personal contact information, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, medical information, government IDs, or other sensitive personal data
  • Make defamatory, sexual, criminal, or otherwise damaging claims about real public figures, or place real public figures in private scenarios without their consent
  • Promote, instruct, or glorify illegal activity, including illicit drug manufacture or distribution
  • Are defamatory toward, or invasive of the privacy of, any identifiable real person
  • Infringe intellectual property or other third-party rights
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
  • Resell or redistribute Service access without permission
  • Use bots, automated tools, or excessive API requests
  • Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or jailbreak our content safety systems (including via prompt injection in notes or chat)

How we enforce these rules

We use a combination of automated content scanning (applied to your inputs before generation and to scripts before audio production) and human review of user reports. Depending on the severity of a violation, consequences may include:

  • Automatic editing or rewording of borderline content prior to generation, with no impact on your account
  • Refusal to generate the broadcast (no credit consumed)
  • Removal of an already-generated broadcast from sharing
  • A formal warning sent to the email on your account
  • Suspension or permanent termination of your account
  • Referral to law enforcement where required by law

Any user can report a broadcast for review using the "Report this broadcast" link on the playback page. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.

8. AI Limitations

Unaired uses artificial intelligence to generate broadcasts. AI output may contain inaccuracies, errors, or invented details. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing. Unaired is not liable for AI-generated content errors.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by Unaired and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or other legitimate reasons. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Unaired does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unaired shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Unaired in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Unaired harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
